Deerpark Pitch & Putt Club's Lucas Uchtyil pictured with Pitch & Putt Ireland U16 Officer John Cahill as well as President Davy Reddin after receiving his prize for reaching the National U16 Matchplay Boys Plate semi-finals in Athgarvan, Co Kildare last weekend.
National U16 Matchplay:
Well done to Lucas Uchtyil on reaching the semi-finals of the Plate event in Athgarvan, Co Kildare last weekend in what was his first competition outside of the club. Both Fionn McMonagle and Daniel Quinlan made the quarter-finals of the Championship event before bowing out.
National Inter-Club:
Congratulations to our 1 team of Damien Fleming, John McGrath, Michael Cronin, James Fleming, Jason Reen and Colm O’Dowd on qualifying for the Finals of this event in Lucan on the October Weekend at the Munster Qualifiers in Bruff last Sunday. Commiserations meanwhile to the 2 team of Connie O’Sullivan, Dan Broderick, Nathan Cronin, Sean O’Mahoney, Paddy Murphy and Niall O’Loughlin on missing out on joining them.
Flesk Restaurant Summer Series:
The final of
these events took place on Tuesday
September 1st last. Results- Winners: Dan Kiely, Fionn McMonagle
& Ryan O'Donoghue 34½ and Runners-Up: John Looney, Ciara Lowe, Daniel
Quinlan & Ella Lowe 34¾. Our thanks to everyone who took part in these
events going back to last May as we thank Connie O'Sullivan for co-ordinating
same.

Each Hole- First Nett: Ger Casey, Bobby Kelly & John Murphy 78 1/3 and
Gross: Ger Casey, Daniel Kelly & Denis Duggan 95.
Mothers and Others:
Although the weather somewhat spoiled the conclusion of it, we are delighted with the numbers we got for our Mothers and Others Group each Thursday night in August. Our thanks to Michael Cronin and Damien Fleming for organising same as well as all those who showed up as coaches over the weeks.
Club Strokeplay:
This event (sponsored by Charlie Foley’s Bar) has been re-fixed for Sunday September 20th. Further details in the weeks ahead.
National Inter-County:
Our Best Wishes to those from the club heading to Navan this weekend representing the county namely Damien Fleming and John McGrath along with James Fleming (Team Manager) along with Ciara Lowe and Eileen McCarthy on the Ladies team.
