County Strokeplay: (Radio Kerry Notes)
Congratulations to David Harnett (Junior Mens) and Eileen McCarthy (Ladies) on their wins last Sunday on home turf as we also say well done to the two James- Fleming (Intermediate Runner-Up) and Foley (Junior Runner-Up) on finishing second in their grades. Hard luck to both Gearoid Cronin and John McGrath on missing out on the prizes as we say a big thank you to our Grounds Committee for their efforts getting the course ready last week.
Flesk Restaurant Summer Series:

Results- It was very, very tight between the Top 2 teams last week as one of
our winners continued his recent streak of Hole-In-Ones! Winners: Jason Reen,
Ronan Browne & Lucas Uchytil 34¼ and Runners-Up: Jason O'Connor, Jean
O'Shea, Donnacha Slattery & Alan O'Leary 34½. Same again next Wednesday
night at 6.45pm.
Collins Charity Open: Well done to both Aodhan O’Halloran and Fionn O’Callaghan on winning the Mens Nett prize at this event in Cork last week.
Paul O’Sullivan Memorial Open:
The County Board are running this event in Listowel until Saturday evening. Full details from the County Board Facebook Page itself.
Bob Casey:
Best Wishes to both our teams as they head for the conclusion of this event in Listowel next Tuesday night.

this three-day multicard will take place next weekend from Friday June 26th-Sunday
June 28th. Further details next week. A note also that Sean Kelly’s
Chairman’s Prize has been postponed from Friday July 3rd to a later
date TBC.
Course Closed:
Please note that the course will be closed all day Saturday due to the staging of the Kerry v Armagh game in Fitzgerald Stadium.
Munster Strokeplay:
Please note in advance of this event which the club are hosting on the weekend of July 19th next month, the Committee have decided that the course will close to all general play from Monday July 6th. An announcement regarding official practice times for competitors will be made in due course.
Deepest Condolences:
The club was saddened to hear of the death of John
O’Mahony last week. John gave the club great publicity throughout his time in
the media both with the Kingdom Newspaper and his website Killarney Today. We
offer our sincerest sympathies to his family and friends.
