National Matchplay:
Well done to David Harnett on his run to the semi-finals of the Junior
Mens event on the June Bank Holiday Monday in Rocklodge in Cork as there was a slight hope
for an all-Deerpark Junior Final with James Foley having made the quarter-finals on the other
side of the draw. While it didn’t come to pass we are proud of both players performances as
well as Jean O’Shea who put in a great performance in her Junior Ladies semi-final. David
replicates his brother Robbie’s achievement of winning a bronze medal at a National Adult
Junior Championship.

Deepest Sympathies:
In what was a very sad week in Killarney in general we want to offer
our condolences to all those who have lost loved ones. We especially want to offer our
condolences to the O'Leary and MacIndoe families along with our CE Scheme worker Pat
O'Sullivan on the death of his mother Maureen. May they Rest in Peace.
