Eileen McCarthy and Michael Cronin with their trophies for Munster Matchplay

Munster Matchplay:

It was a proud day today for the club last Sunday as not one but two Munster Matchplay titles were won in Fermoy. Michael Cronin went to a playoff in both his semi-final and final encounters in the Intermediate Mens event today before coming out on top as he becomes the club's first winner of this event since Jason O'Brien did so back in 2015. This is Michael's biggest success since his third place finish at the National Intermediate Strokeplay back in 2017. Eileen McCarthy meanwhile won a tight all-Kerry Intermediate Ladies decider with Tralee's Lisa O'Connor that went to the penultimate hole as Eileen has now won Munster Matchplay titles at both Girls and Ladies level. Congratulations to both from all in the club. Damien Fleming (Senior) and David Harnett (Junior) also made the quarter-finals of their respective grades.

Scratch Cups:

We are happy to confirm that following confirmation that the Kerry vs. Donegal game will go ahead on Saturday May 23rd our Scratch Cups will proceed as normal on Sunday May 24th. Timesheet is now open and please contact John McGrath if you wish to arrange a tee-time.
