AGM: Thanks to everyone who attended our AGM on Wednesday January 14th last as we were proud to elect Derry McCarthy to the position of Club President filling the vacancy left by the death of Kay O'Sullivan in October 2024. One of Derry's first acts as President was to make a special presentation to our Club Secretary on his achievements on the playing front in 2025 as we also made the presentation of the Utility Trust Doubles Matchplay prizes at the AGM. We welcome both Niall O'Loughlin and Michael Cronin to the Committee as our new U16 officers as we will fill a number of vacancies by co-option at first Committee Meeting. 2026 Officers: Honorary President: Derry McCarthy, Vice President: Deferred to a later date, Chairman: Sean Kelly, Vice-Chairman; For Co-Option at next Meeting, Secretary: Damien Fleming, Treasurer: For Co-Option at next Meeting, Assistant Treasurer: Colm O'Dowd, Registrar: Bobby Kelly, PRO: Jason O'Connor, Competition Secretaries: Connie O'Sullivan Jnr & John McGrath, U16 Officers: Niall O'Loughlin & Michael Cronin, Club Captain: Gearóid Cronin, Grounds Chairman: Derry McCarthy and Non-Portfolio Officers: Aidan O'Keeffe & James Foley. Sunday Draws: Two Ball Betterball- First Nett: Gearoid Cronin & Margaret O'Brien 36½ Gross: John McGrath & Dan Kiely 46 and Second Nett: Sean O'Brien & Dan Kiely 38½ (B9). 2026 Membership: Please note membership for this year will be due as of March 1st.
